GRADE (RECORD): NM, Gorgeous, unplayed, no spindle marks in the original Motown Sleeve
GRADE (COVER): NM, in shrink, gorgeous, gatefold has never seen the light of day.
NOTES: Superb copy of this soul masterpiece. Compared to another copy on my own shelf, the vinyl is a bit lighter and the lettering on the label is larger, which I thing means it was a mid-70’s pressing when lighter (but just as good sounding) pressings were made. Just wanted to put that out there to avoid making any anal-retentive claims about “very first, absolute, blah blah” etc. Bottom line, this was a landmark album, this is an original TAMLA pressing, and it is in fantastic condition.
GRADING: As a record collector of 15 years and former record store employee, I am a very conservative, experienced grader. I use NM, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, and G for grading.
