A truly excellent condition and sparingly played copy of this increasingly rare and sought after UK 1st press "under the radar" rock gem, with earliest A2/B1 vinyl matrix numbers on the highly collectable Regal Zonophone record label, STEREO, SRZA 8504

The dead wax matrix numbers are :

Side 1   SRZA  8504  A - 2 with stampers "1" and "0" at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock

Side 2   SRZA  8504  B - 1 with stampers "1" and "R" at 5 o'clock and 1 o'clock

A truly excellent condition copy of this brilliant 1971 UK 1st press "under the radar" rock gem rarity with gleaming, jet black sheen, sparingly played, heavy and earliest A2/B1 matrix vinyl - just a few small & very light surface scuffs only visible under a bright light; beautiful labels with just a couple of small & very faint spindle trails on each and a small & very light vertical mark on the side 2 label; excellent condition outer gate fold sleeve - firm edges with barely any scuffing, no creasing, excellent corners & spine, firm opening sides with no fraying, and all colours/photos/text beautifully intact - impressive; original & excellent condition lilac lyric insert - just the hint of some very light age discolouration adjacent to the left edge; lovely condition original plain white poly-lined inner sleeve - no tears or splits or nasty creasing but some age discolouration towards the edges; crystal clear STEREO audio quality with perfect tone & no sticks, jumps, repeats, skips or background interference...I did notice x2 very light clicks at the very beginning of the 2nd track on side 1, which can only be down to a speck of dust caught between the grooves through decades of storage - a great listen throughout. UK 1st pressings are becoming hard to find now, especially in condition as impressive as this.

On the subject of postage, I take great care in the packaging of all items, using a proper vinyl thick cardboard "crucifix" style box/mailer along with at least two thick cardboard stiffeners. I take great care in separating the record from the outer sleeve in order to help prevent sleeve damage in transit and I always insert the vinyl, outer sleeve and inner into a clear plastic sleeve, thus adding further protection.

Mint

The records itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items, such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and /or creasing.

Very Good

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents are torn, stained and/or defaced

Poor

The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents are badly damaged or partly missing.

Bad

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
