Description
Mary Gold "Dancing" (10:07 - this is what I timed it as) double A-side PRIVATE PRESS 12" single on Goldfox International from 1981. This is one AWESOME track, which is SUPER RARE, and according to the sales listed on Popsike, continues to go up in value!!! Also, you'll notice that the copy I'm offering in this auction has a few distinct differences to what's printed on the record labels. If you look at the 4 copies that have sold on Popsike, 3 of the 4 have timing listed on the label, additional/different credit info printed to the left of the spindle hole, and marketing/distribution info printed at the bottom of the label. The copy I'm offering in this auction shows no timing listed, a lesser amount of credit info to the left side of the label, and does not have the marketing/distribution info printed at the bottom of the label. Now, I have no way of telling, but this lack of or lesser amount of info makes me think that this my have been an early/rush copy, which they then needed to correct, as can be seen in the other copies listed on Popsike. But like I said, I just can't say with any certainty, although it is an interesting distinction.

The gold labeled vinyl on this 12"er is in very good condition with noticeable whispy sleeve marks and light scratches. This 12"er comes in a generic halfsleeve, which is in poor condition, and has all the expected condition issues for the grade. You can hear multiple segements of nearly 3.5-minutes of sound samples of A-side #1 below, as well as a just over 2-minute sound sample of A-side #2, which is from the actual record in this auction. Please take a look at the photos below of each side of the label to view the label condition. This is a RARE & COOL Mary Gold/Funk/Disco/Boogie collectible, make sure you bid on this today!!!
