PORTUGAL IMPORT Stateside Records issue of Mary Hopkins' "Mary Had A Baby" released in January 1973.
Side A: Mary Had A Baby Side B: Cherry Tree Carol
After marrying Tony Visconti in 1971, Mary Hopkin withdrew from the music scene to have a family, but did not stop recording. In 1972, Hopkin announced her departure from Apple Records. In December 1972, she released the Christmas single "Mary Had a Baby" backed with "Cherry Tree Carol" in the UK.  It was released in Portugal in January 1973. Her husband Tony Visconti produced and arranged the recordings.

This record was pressed by Stateside Records in Portugal.

VINYL: This record has very little wear and is in very good condition. LABELS: The labels are clean and in very good condition. SLEEVE: The sleeve has beautiful photo of a pregnant Mary Hopkin. The sleeve is in very good condition. The reverse side has a slight stain and some writing (see photo).

This is a hard to find collector's item.
