Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my rare Beatles, Beatles Related and Rolling Stones records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare Holland 1st pressing of Mary Hopkin – The Best of Mary Hopkin on the APPLE label, cat. no. 5C 054-93536, dating from 1972.
The record is in VG+ condition; there are only some non-sounding hairlines and a couple visible, but non-soundng marks. The labels are in EX minus condition, there are only a few spindle marks on each side.
The cover, laminated on both sides, is in VG+ condition; there is some slight wear in the corners, and there is some light ring wear an a tiny sticker tear mark on the back. Besides mentioned damage this cover looks very presentable to me, there is no writing, no creases or other unwanted damage.
This is an extremely rare Dutch 1st pressing of The Best of Mary Hopkin. This compilation album of Mary Hopkin was only released in The Netherlands and Germany, making this a unique release indeed. And although not in mint condition, this album plays great, this copy is addition to any Apple records collection. This is a real must have for all Mary Hopkin, Beatles and Apple records fans and a unique opportunity to complete your life-time Beatles and Beatles related record collection! Happy Bidding!
