 This is an ORIGINAL  SOUTH AFRICA 1st PRESSING  release of  MARY HOPKIN's third lp - ' THOSE WERE THE DAYS ' released originally as here in 1972.

Obviously this Lp sold in only very small numbers when originally released and in this one and only pressing from South Africa sold in even less amounts - making it a particularly rare APPLE record...


Visually graded under a 100W  light source the thick HEAVYWEIGHT vinyl retains EXCELLENT MINUS glossy sheen - with actually very few visible marks at all, even hairlines.

Overall on playing this is confirmed....as there is only some minor surface noise audible in quiet parts and no skips or jumps etc.

Both sides have been PLAY GRADED. 

Side 1 is graded - EXCELLENT MINUS

Side 2 is graded - EXCELLENT MINUS


The famous APPLE record labels are graded EXCELLENT MINUS - with very little spindle wear at all.

The thin card FRONT LAMINATED FLIPBACK  sleeve is graded EXCELLENT - with very little wear at all - perhaps some minor discoloration to the white back but the spine etc remains 100% and no splits or writing.
