Description

Artist - MARY HOPKIN

Title - "Those Were the Days "

Label -  APPLE (no catalog number)

Year - 1972

 

Condition: 

Record:  (appears to be unplayed)

Side 1:  strong VG+ to VG++ (one light sleeve scuff and two light hairlines that do not affect play).  

Side 2:  NM

Cover:    strong VG+ (plain white cover with no writing that shows light wear).      

Labels:   NM ("hand typed" paper APPLE labels have been glued over the test pressing labels; covered over label clearly visible on 'a' side). 

Inserts:    (2) b&w, 8x10 APPLE management "press" photos (excellent condition, with one photo showing a light circular "record impression" at the bottom).

Comments:   You would be hard-pressed to find a cleaner copy -  hell, ANY copy - of this very rare 1972 "test pressing" LP by this APPLE Records recording star.  The bonus management photos make this a very unique item. 

Please note: As the song titles and times match those of the actual commercial release, I'm assuming, although I have not played the record, that it is the same.

This is an original, vintage copy of this LP.
