in near mint condition

Excellent spiritual jazz & spoken word on the four tracks of the "Praise The Lord" suite, covering the entire 1st side of this rare album: Mary Lou Williams on piano, with the vocals of Leon Thomas and Honey Gordon, plus Percy Brice on drums, Bill Salter on bass, Ralph Mac Donald on conga drums, Julius Watkins on french horn and the voices of the so called "Interfaith Chorus",
incl. the deep and fantastic tunes "Thank You Jesus" & "Praise The Lord" (both with lead vocals by Leon Thomas), plus the Mary Lou Williams composition "Our Father" and the instrumental uptempo piano jazz tune "Joycie". Side 2 of this record features some "Folk Psalms For The Young In Spirit" by the Paul Quinlan Trio...
