On offer here is a very rare single (especially in this condition!!!!) by Mary Wells called "My Guy" with the B side being 'Oh Little Boy'. HOWEVER THIS SINGLE IS VERY VERY RARE!!!! IT IS A GENIUNE UK PRESSED DEMONSTRATION RECORD!!!! THESE ARE VERY VERY RARE AND ONLY ONLY VERY VERY LIMTED AMOUNTS WERE EVER PRESSED!!!! DONT MISS THIS!!!! Demonstration Records were special records pressed in VERY limited numbers for Radio Stations, and other press outlets to promote the song on single BEFORE it was released!!!! So naturally these are VERY VERY rare and VERY hard to come by!!!! This Mary Wells record is identified as a Demonstration Record as it has a WHITE label and a RED 'A' on the A side!!!! Also the record has 'Demonstration Record' & 'Not For Sale' printed on BOTH sides!!!! THIS RECORD IS VERY VERY RARE!!!! DONT MISS OUT!!!! The matrix numbers are 45 KR 4279-1N & 45 KR 4280-1N. This is the ORIGINAL UK 1965 Stateside pressing, and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The record is pressed on thick quality vinyl. The Cat. No is SS 288 on the 'Demonstration Record' White (& Red 'A') Stateside label (see pictures) and is a MONO pressing!!!! DONT MISS OUT!!!! Any fan of Mary Wells, Motown, Demos, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!! The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing and barely ANY spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition for its age. Most of these singles had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a few light paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THIS RECORD STILL HAS A 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! AWESOME!!!! The record plays with NO pops, NO distortion, NO jumps, NO sticks, NO 'frying bacon' crackle and only some VERY low level noise on the run on groove - NOT over the music!!!! THE MUSIC SOUNDS STUNNING!!!! This is how I FOUND the record, and I have NOT used any nasty chemicals, or buffing machines to make it look better - it GENIUNELY is this STUNNING!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade visually FULL Excellent with the play grade more like Excellent(Minus) - though that is being quite harsh!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also has its ORIGINAL company sleeve!!!! HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking single and it is truly rare to find any copies of this RARE DEMO by Mary Wells in this sort of condition!!!!
