Masanori Masaki "Tubo" K7 tape issued by Stratosphere Music (SMC-001) in Japan, 1982. ****** Tape:m- / Cov:m- ****** Very obscure tape by Masanori Masaki, issued on the legendary Stratosphere label from Japan. This tape is Stratosphere Music Collection 001. Masanori Masaki plays all instruments (it would be better to say that he organizes all the noises / sounds… most of which seems to come from distorted synths): Voice, Guitar, Keyboards, Synthesizer, Percussion, Rhythm Machine & Tapes. Beautiful layout printed on clear paper. The tape has 2 hand-made scotch lettering titles, or two red-scotch lettering on one side with the writings "Tubo" and "Masanori Masaki" and a blue-scotch lettering on the other side with the writing "Stratosphere Music" (see photo). The red-scotch side includes: 1. "The Pile Cry", 2. "Night Behind That Circle", 3. "Re-Move", 4. "Dox", 5. "Over.. Over…", 6. "Grumbling". The blue-scotch side includes: 7. "Cost", 8. "Prisoner Of Aphrodisiac", 9. "Visions Of Vigil". Very experimental tape with lot of treatments and manipulations.
