THE MASTER DUB BAND - ‘For The Love Of Money’ 12” UK 1981 Good City Records GC001
Rare as hen’s teeth, classic dub-disco/funk cross-over 12”.
This UK 2 track 12", released in March 1981 in VERY limited quantity and only on white label format with a title sticker on one side. Comprises two remixes/re-edits of differing lengths; (8:28 & 8:51), of the Disco Dub Band 7", originally released in 1976.
Matrix numbers; LYN+9737+1U PB+1+A / LYN+9738 PB+1+B
Comes in generic plain card sleeve with paper inner.
CONDITION:
Playing condition is EX. Record has clearly had little previous play. No massive difference compared to new. Very occasional audible surface noise. Infrequent pop. Overall, NO loud overpowering crackle NO loud repetitive clicks NO jumps NO sticking.
Visually, in good daylight, the vinyl playing surface looks EX-. Few and light surface-only marks/scuffs (see photos). Nothing that feels to the touch or that has any effect on play. No deep scratches.
Several light spindle marks on Bside label. Light marks/scuffs. Sticker text perfectly legible. NO other writing or stickers.
