Description

MASTER WILBURN BURCHETTE : Psychic Sound 7"EP (Burchette Brothers [USA] BB-005) 1976.

Record is VG+ with light wear only. It plays with light intermittent surface noise. Nothing too bad, no skips or sticks, but it's a pretty quiet record so at times the noise is more noticeable that it otherwise might be.

Book is excellent with light wear and a few creases.

With three inserts and return envelope (all excellent).

Original copy of this seldom-seen 7"/book set by cosmic-occult-meditation guru Wilburn Burchette. This hardly ever shows up with the book and in this form it is probably the most obscure item in his extensive discography.

According to the notes, the sounds were composed and orchestrated by Burchette using a pink noise generator, to simulate the sound of the wind ("Wind Of The Soul") and the sea ("Sea Of The Mind"). The skeptical among you might wonder if he didn't just stick a microphone out the window and record the actual wind and sea, but we're going to take the Master at his word.
