HNH 4038 Audiophile Heavy Platter –
US Masterdisk of the Lyrita
This is Boult’s very fine work with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, recorded by the Lyrita team in 1977.
It features an extraordinary mix of music, in Bax NOVEMBER WOODS, Holst FUGAL OVERTURE, and Moeran SINFONIETTA, all captured with great stage presence and definition.
This edition is not from Lyrita, however, but is instead the US HNH Records audiophile edition, cut on virgin vinyl, a heavy platter, every note re-mastered by Robert Ludwig.
A fine vinyl prize, in a jacket without major fault; heavy platter inside should play near mint, if not better.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $16 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
