Description
The Master's Apprentices.
.Selftitled
On offer here is an original 1960s issue, Australian press LP on the ASTOR label (ALP1025)
This is an original mono 2nd pressing on ASTOR and not to be confused with the later inferior sounding stereo-enhanced budget re-issue on Summit. This 2nd issue is just as hard to find as the Astor black label. I have played both, side by side and the sonics are identical. Actually the vinyl on this press has slightly less surface noise than the black label issue.
This is considered as aguably the best LP to come out of the Australian 60s garage beat scene. Sure there's a couple of fillers, but boy do the killers make up for those. Nuff said!
Record: Ex++ (some would call this mint)
Label: Ex (radio station stamp)
Sleeve: Ex. Sharp corners, no tears, no writing There is some light storage ring wear but this is so mild that it does not take away from the overall presentation. This is one of those flimsy unlaminated but glossy sleeves, and how this one has survived in such top condition is incredible.

Mint minus = clean and shiny, as new.
Excellent (Ex) = overall great with only a minimum of minor scuffs or flaws. A keeper copy for sure.
Very Good (VG) = still quite acceptable with obvious scuffs and maybe some hairline scratches that may affect sound quality, or may distract slightly from overall appearance.
Good (G) = well used but still worthwhile due to rarity or desirability.
(+) plus or (-) minus may be added to indicate a bias to the next grading level
My grading's are based on visual inspection under good lighting, however I may in some instances grade an item on audio quality too. I try to grade conservatively, so if an item is described as Excellent........ then expect excellent.... not messy! Please ask a question if you require further specific details on an item.
Over the years I have been personally dissapointed many times by vinyl purchased on eBay only to find that they are two or three grades lower than described. I have been collecting music related items over thirty years.

PACKING
All records will be packed with vinyl disc placed securely outside of cover/sleeve to prevent any seam splitting. Recycled packing may also be used.
I do not charge handling fees. Postage costs from "greedy" Australia Post for international and local post is expensive enough without any extra rip-offs. Any slight over postmark charging will contribute towards packaging materials cost.
Thanks for looking!
