Description
I am selling off part of my private collection as I am running out of floor space. I try to Grade Records as Fairly as Possible, and I would sooner Grade under than over. Most of the American records and re-issues were purchased in the early seventies through to the early eighties, When I was a D.J.
I stored a lot of my records in polythene lined cardboard covers and I have found that a lot of the American releases including re-issues the vinyl has gone a dull smokey-grey although this doesn't affect play in any way I can't really list them unless anyone can let me know if these can be cleaned somehow. A lot of the British records I had in original covers and then put in plastic sleeves have also suffered a little but these have got shinier if anything and play is not affected by this either so when I list these I will state this. A lot of these records are now over 50 yrs old so have deteriorated over time.
ALL RECORDS I SELL HAVE BEEN PLAYED ON MY SEEBURG JUKE-BOX BEFORE BEING LISTED AND I WILL NOT LIST A RECORD THAT SKIPS AND JUMPS. IF THERE ARE ANY HISSES AND POPS OR LESSENING IN SOUND QUALITY I WILL STATE THIS IN THE LISTING, SO YOU CAN BID WITH CONFIDENCE.
Up for auction is A very good copy of Rock 'n' Roll Band / Born To Rock 'n' Roll by Matchbox on the Dawn records label, Cat No: DNS.1104. This is a promotional copy and not for sale, and has the release date as February 28 1975. Matrix numbers are stamped into wasted wax. Both vinyl and labels are in very good condition. No Company Sleeve. 2 Great sides, Ideal for Juke Box or Record-Hop.
All records will be dispatched in either cardboard or plain sleeves unless stated in listing to be in original company sleeve.
I have had a lot of interest from overseas buyers e.g. Belgium and the Netherlands shipping & handling to these countries is the same as other E.U countries £2.60 for first record and £1.00 for each after.
As I am getting a back-log of Records for dispatch with no payments received, so Payment must be made within 7 days.of first item won.
