Early appearance on KAPP of the great MATTIE MOSS CLARK with the State Choir Of Southwestern Michigan C.O.G.I.C.!!!

Very scarce, cool LP- especially for collectors of Mattie's stuff- despite being on a major label, I rarely some across this one!

Directed by Eugene J. Potts who did a great job of incorporating a jazz/ soul atmosphere to these spirituals.
