TITLE/ARTIST: Please continue to check out all current and future listings on this site as everything from my personal collection will be available over time - thank you! This original Maurice Williams and The Zodiacs' LP - the very 1st released by this early R'n'R/Doowop group - is yet another album which honestly looks really good and seemingly played quite sparingly. In my opinion, it is in outstanding overall condition.... The album is entitled "Stay" and includes their hit title song plus, other great songs from this time (1961) - 14 in all. I have listed many other "oldies" LP's and 45's over these past few days and will continue to do so in the weeks ahead, so please bookmark my site and check everything out from time to time. Thank you in advance! LABEL INFO: This original, yellow colored, Herald Label (HLP 1014) is nearly perfect with no issues whatsoever - and the record is in original mono! VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also super good - extremely shiny, clean, and super nice with again, nothing in serious need of a mention - perhaps just a few super light (and I do mean super light) paper lines, but nothing too serious, believe me. Otherwise though, in my opinion, this record is almost as nice as the day it was 1st purchased JACKET INFO: Finally, the jacket is also in very good overall shape - but does show some early and fairly light signs of "aging", plus two small 1"-2" seam splits - one at the top seam and one at the bottom seam, and both located where the seam meets the open edge. In my opinion, this entire package is basically very nice, especially considering how difficult it is to find anymore, but please view the pictures above and make your own decisions about everything - or write me if you want more specifics. INTERESTING FACTS: I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs/45's, too. As I have already mentioned, I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 1000's more to get to yet -- of all genre's and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$20.00 for the 1st LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that.
