MAXIMO PARK GRAFFITI/GOING MISSING ULTRA RARE MINT UNPLAYED SELF RELEASED RED 7” VINYL ONE OF JUST 300 IN THE WORLD!
A) Graffiti
AA) Going Missing
This is the highly collectable, ultra rare self released debut single from the magnificent Maximo Park. Most of the current crop of indie bands started by putting out very limited edition debut singles Arctic Monkeys (500) Kaiser Chiefs (500) Editors (500) Bloc Party (500) The Rakes (500) The Subways (500) etc. This Maximo Park 7” is the rarest of the lot and according to the bands singer, Paul Smith “We only got 300 pressed, ‘cos it was all we could afford, and we got it in red vinyl, ‘cos it’s my favourite colour. It’s not enough to just send out another CD-R promo.”
Pressed on heavy weight red vinyl this was released on the bands BILLINGHAM RECORDINGS in 2003 with copies only available in two stores in London and one store in Newcastle, or you could buy it direct from the band as I did and with this copy.
The Record comes in a plain white sleeve in a white card sleeve and in a clear plastic cover. Etched in the run out on one side is "Romance isn't dead" and on the Going Missing side is "Here's some pop music that isn't popular yet".
This very rare record will only become more collectable as the band are now gaining huge success Worldwide!
Both record and sleeve are in perfect unplayed condition and will be sent to the lucky winner in a secure record mailer by recorded delivery to ensure safe arrival. Please see feedback. Any questions please ask.
