Another incredibly rare record, the second album by acclaimed heavy psych UK/ Canadian progressive band, May Blitz drom 1971. Always really difficult to trace let alone in this very well preserved EX+ condition. Fantastic music, one of the very best on the legendary Swirl label. This is a Swirl label UK pressing, record 6360 037 with small machine punched matrices 1Y//1 and 2Y//1. The A side has the full swirl label and the B side has the small swirl logo with the song titles and record number etc. In normal daylight there are no hairlines or marks on the B side and just one very slight surface mark (inaudible) on the A side, track 2. A couple more insignificant slight hairlines if viewed under more intense light. Has retained its original full lustre shine. Plays throughout without fault with a full dynamic range and crystal clear sound as you expect from a UK Vertigo Swirl heavy duty pressing. I grade the vinyl record EX+. The unlaminated gatefold cover featuring weird people including bird like characters is without fault except for a small surface tear in the top right corner where the original price label used to be. This however is not significant as it is on a white background anyway so is not that readily noticeable. I think at least an EX grade is justified for the gatefold cover. Being a Vertigo it comes complete with the anti static swirl inner bag. RARE, FANTASTIC MUSIC & HIGHLY RECOMMENED TO ALL.
