Description

THIS IS IT, PEOPLE: the Holy Grail of Black Metal, the infamous MAYHEM LP "Dawn of the Black Hearts", with cover photograph of lead singer DEAD shortly after his suicide, taken by bandmate and roomate EURONYMOUS, who himself would later be murdered by Varg Virkenes (a/k/a Burzum). This is the ORIGINAL BLACK VINYL LP RELEASE, first pressing, with the even rarer GOLD LETTERING on the cover. Sorry about the blurry photo: thought it best not to be too vivid on the site, but anyone bidding on this item knows exactly what the picture looks like.

THIS IS AS BLACK AS IT GETS. Recorded Live in Sarpsborg, NORWAY, February 28th, 1990.
