Description

From 1961, comes Maynard Ferguson with his LP Maynard '62 on Roulette SR52083 red & black marble colored wax. Ten song album on the white & colored spoke wheel Roulette label. Deep groove on both sides. Scarce original with red and black marbled wax! It is one of a handful of copies known this way and may have been a special DJ copy! Since the few that are known are stereo (such as this) and the times are written in pencil next to the songs on the rear cover. This leads me to believe it may have been a DJ copy! Very rare! I have never seen it in person before and it is doubtful that you will see another offered! Maynard is accompanied by Chet Ferretti, Don Rader, Nat Pavone, Slide Hampton, Kenny Rupp, Lanny Morgan, Willie Madien, Don Menza,Frank Hittner,Mike Abene,Linc Milliman and Rufus Jones.

High spot dirt on front and rear covers, banged corners at seams. Easy enough to get another cover! Tiny nick on open seam. Tiny seam split lower and upper right at seam opening.

Cover is better than VG+ but not VG++, record is VG++!!  

Any glares/reflections/shadows in photos are just from my camera!
