Description
You are bidding on an Excellent minus Original Limited Edition UK FIRST PRESS of the 1996 Mazzy Star LP Among My Swan on original UK first press. This is an original first press on Capitol Records, Matrix numbers A-02-01-1:B-1-1-1. Catalogue No. EST 2288
SLEEVE - the original Card picture sleeve has a significant seam split to the top edge (see photos) and seam damage to the bottom edge but otherwise is in Excellent minus condition with occasional light wear to some edges. The original picture inner haas neat seam splits to all three sides and a light crease to one corner, the pictures are complete and other than the seam splits I would grade the sleeve excellent. The record comes with the LIMITED PHOTO INSERT, this is in NEAR MINT condition and is individually numbered 002681. Overall a Solid sleeve.
VINYL - the disc is in Excellent minus condition, it retains all of its sheen, the labels are clean, however please note that the side 1 label has been manufactured slightly off centre and therefore runs into the run-off groove, this doesn’t affect playing but in run off the needle should be removed once it is running over the label. Under Halogen light the DISC has a number of light hairline marks but no deep scratches visible. Overall this is a strong example of an original FIRST PRESS of this hard to find LP.
Overall a solid example of a 25+ year old record. Bid with confidence.
All records are packaged carefully so that they arrive to you in the same great condition they left us. Records will be wrapped in bubble wrap and placed between two oversized thick cardboard pieces before being wrapped in brown parcel paper and taped up.
