Up for auction is a nice early pressing of the MC5 album "Kick Out The Jams" originally released in the U.S. on Elektra Records (EKS 74042) in 1969.

Note:
This is a first issue of this record that used the red "Big E" Elektra labels which were first issued in 1969. Still very rare as this red label was used only for a year, when it was changed to the green "butterfly" label in 1970.
Condition:
Cover is very nice, with only light signs of wear. No ring wear, just some light rubbing top and bottom middle. Seams are nice, intact, no splits, just a little rub. Corner are nice, light rub. Interior is clean, no ring wear. Well-preserved copy. Grade: Excellent (EX).
Vinyl is in very good condition, still has much of its original shine. Has a number of light, superficial hairlines and marks on both sides, but nothing deep or serious, certainly nothing that can be felt or that would cause any skips or pops. Labels are clean, unmarked.
Play-Tested: The sound quality of this record is excellent, very strong and generally clean. Very little background noise on the run-in grooves. From my personal collection, very carefully handled. Despite the light surface scratches, it is a nice sounding record. Grade: visually Very Good (VG); audio is a strong Very Good Plus (VG+).
