Description

Difficult to find those elusive orange label 1st copies ('69). This is a great compromise being the 1st copy on Butterfly label from Xmas 1970. Heavy pressed with some rouge colouring at the top of the label. Copies from 1970 will not mention 'made in uk' or 'Warners'. And the eariest Butterfly copies will come with an original '69 designed cover printed by EJ Day with redacted credits and a new catalogue sticker number. Sweeet!!
Vinyl (Ex) In super condition having seen only light use.  Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome though [fully tested]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT  level .. Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. This record has lots of lowkey passages - not many copies will deliver it fully clean. This is on a lot of folks fave list and you really need a super clean copy to do it maximum justice.   Super resolving potential deep into the mix. Highly recommended for audio. Superb all round. It's like you're in the studio! Nice clean feeder.
Cover (Vg+)n lovely condition with some light wear to bottom of rear panel - sufaces are otherwise superb.Don't get caught out on this title - they were hellishly difficult to keep in decent condition. Sometimes you get low-level hidden foxing, colour fade, or surface wear. Interior looks absolutely amazing. Spine 80% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Insert (Vg)  creased.
