THE MC5 - Kick Out The Jams/Motor City Is Burning ORIG Elektra 45 EKSN 45056 (UK, 1969)
Happy to present the original UK 7-inch of this seminal, landmark disc. Referenced, cross-sectioned, talked about, compiled…They don’t come much more famous in the Rock Canon than this one, and it’s not at all easy finding it in this, its original 1960’s press.
The vinyl comes in visually at VG- on the A (light scuffs and hairlines) and plays great on this side with no real issues at all. The B-side again plays well, but is quite marked with a few noticeable scuffs and around a half dozen small scratches and other marks, none of which interfere with the loud music.
Original orange Elektra labels are fine with no writing or damage, just a tiny stain to the outer edge of the A.
Celebrating 40 years this year, no Psych or Rock 45 collection is complete without this most revolutionary 1969 single. Low start!
