MC5 - Kick Out The Jams - Rare UK Mono 1st Issue

Selling-up my large record collection, amassed over 50 years. There are new listings every week. Do have a look at my other items - I may have something that you didn't even know you wanted!
I found this record in a car boot sale a few years ago, in a pile with some others, none in very good condition. As I love the album, couldn't resist buying it, to see if it would play - it does. When I had a good look at it, realised I had a mono copy of the UK first issue of this classic album.

Cover - is gatefold, pretty good but not great - see my first two pictures, nice original colour. There's a bit of surface missing at top right of front - as shown in my third picture, and a piece of tape on the inside, as in my fourth picture. Some ring-wear, big creases to corners, and scallop creases. Lower edge of back has a long split.
Record - plays well, see later. Previous owner's initials on A-side label (pictured). Visual inspection - side one has lots of various scratches, marks, impacts and scuffs. A heavy small impact near the end of the side, and a nasty-looking little impact at the start of track 2. Side two has lots of various scratches, and a little impact on track 2. I have played this - it doesn't skip or "stick" - for me, on my deck. Generally, listening to the music is not interrupted by sounds from the scratches and suchlike, but clicks are very noticeable on the spoken-word parts on side one at start and beginning of track 2. You may hear crackling or clicks in quiet parts, but there are not many quiet parts on this album! General audio is very good, not scored along the grooves, not beaten-to-death.  Interesting to hear the mono version - it is said that mono sounds more loud and direct - on an album that's pretty darn loud-and-direct in any case!
A very good copy of this would cost into three figures.
When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.
Postage at cost within UK - £3.20 plus 50p for a proper record mailer with two stiffener sheets of cardboard (or whatever's appropriate). Happy to do combined postage wherever practical. I'll charge you what it costs me - so anything up to six (or so) LPs would still be the same charge, £3.70. One can send up to 2 kilos for £3.20. For UK buyers - if you buy several items on the same day, and you're looking for combined postage, don't pay, and message me to ask for an invoice that includes combined postage.
Dispatch will usually be "next day", if you pay promptly. My auctions end on Sundays, and I post on Monday afternoon. I only go out to post once a week, during the present pandemic, so if I receive payment after 14.00 Monday, parcel goes into the next Monday's posting.  Collection in person is usually welcome, but not when there are lockdown rules in effect, which forbid it.

I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad. Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer. They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer. This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices.
Please be sure that you understand what the postal charges will be, before bidding. 
E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme. Charges to the customer for delivery and customs charges are whatever you're told they are - if you don't want to pay the postal / courier charges individually for the items, then do not bid. 
Overseas customers - please DON'T request an invoice - I can't make one, and it screws-up the e-bay system.
International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme. If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid. International postage to the following countries will be shown (this is the latest list that I've seen - lotta countries!) Applicable customs charges will be shown to buyers - E-Bay collects customs duty for the receiving country, wherever import duty is appropriate. If you don't want to pay the customs charges, do not bid. Since "Brexit", customs charges are likely between UK and EU countries.
I don't send to China (because I prefer not to), and I also don't send to Japan, Brazil, Ecuador and Peru, as importation of vinyl records is not permitted in their customs regulations.
