Description

Up for auction here is "City Slang (mono)" backed with "City Slang (Stereo)" by Sonic's Rendezvous Band on the Orchide label. This is simply the greatest slab of Detroit rock ever. If this isn't in your record collection, your collection is seriously deficient. This a "preview" edition that is some sort of promo with the original sleeve. The sleeve is pretty tatty and fairly well split down both sides. I guess it grades as Fair. The record is pretty scuffed from years of heavy partying. It is G, but plays into the range of VG/VG- with some light crackle. Still, it never really overpowers the music (nothing can!) and sounds pretty great cranked up. You need this in your MC5 / Stooges collection.
