You are viewing the auction for the MEGA RARE MC5 lp KICK OUT THE JAMS from 1968 on ELEKTRA EKS-74042. Has the MOTHERF*CKER audio and text that are desired by collectors. The vinyl is in NM condition, with a very few very light marks that don't affect play at all. Original Elektra inner sleeve VG+. Jacket is VG with corner dings. This album was purchased in Amsterdam while in the service right off the shelf. Check out the picture of the sticker just inside the jacket. This is a first 1968 pressing that was pulled from the record stores very quickly when consumer complaints rolled into corporate Elektra complaining about certain material within. Elektra worried that major retail stores would boycott their label and quickly withdrew this "obscene" version and released an editted version omitting the offensive text and audio language.   I I
