The cover of McChurch Soundroom's sole album gives virtually nothing away. So any history is impossible! All members of the band are from Basel , Switzerland – and Mr. Althaus ,still living there , now is a famous Jazz-musician –mainly sax and guitar! Starting deceptively in folk-rock realms, DELUSION moves around a lot, never sifting comfortably within any genre, and is largely instrumental, bridging psychedelic, hard-rock and fusion, being variably comparable to Gomorrha, Thirsty Moon and other such bands. The closest album to compare with is Gravy Train's superb debut, which similarly featured flute in a variety of rock and fusion styles. (from: crack in the cosmic egg )
