ME AND THE DEVIL (PROMO COPY) VARIOUS ARTISTS
Trade Sample Copy of this rare British release. FIRST PRESSING. Mike Raven, radio blues DJ, writes in the sleeve notes: '....all the indications seem to point to a big 'blues' boom in Britain during the coming twelve months...' He was dead right! This was in October 1968, some 4 years after the R&B boom that spawned so many beat bands and at the same time as the explosion of British Blues.

Sleeve: Excellent Laminated front, lamination lifting on 2 top corners. Contains Mono catalogue number LBL 83190; the word 'mono' has been crossed out and 'stereo' written in pencil. No damage, very slight feathering.
Vinyl Condition & Grading: Ex, very low level SN between tracks. Some light scuffs on surface; no damage.
Album Played For Grading: Yes. (Equipment: Linn Sondek LP12, Linn Ekos arm, Linn K9 moving coil cartridge, tracking at 1 gram into a Cambridge Audio Azur 340A amp and out to a pair of Bose speakers with a Super Woofer)
