Old eBay prices: $77 + $75. Rare one here. Great early US Hardcore Punk from 1981. Original first pressing, issued on private mini label 'World Imitation' records. The 'In My Car' EP is the first 7” release by the great MEAT PUPPETS. In addition, here's the comment from the FLEX website (US Hardcore Punk Discography):


  • This is extreme and hectic hardcore, totally frantic and raging, then there's some weird guitar noise again. A unique, highly original blend. A demanding classic. [9]

  • Teils völlig ausgerasteter HC mit Geschrei vom Feinsten, teils abgedrehtes und irrwitziges Gitarrengeklimper. Durch die Mischung mehr als außergewöhnlich, aber auch sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Erheblich radikaler als spätere Werke (ausgenommen die erste 12”). Ich finde sie toll.

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.


Payment / Bezahlung: via PayPal. All orders outside Germany which exceed a value of €12 or £11 or $13 will only be sent by registered mail.
