Description
"Meet The Beatles" was released January 20, 1964 and was the first Capitol Records Beatles album issued in both mono and stereo. This is a great album and all of The Beatles songs on this LP are dynamite.
Recorded in England on the Capitol Records Black Rainbow label with the Capitol Records logo inside an oval at the top of the record label, identifying the release date as before 1969. It appears to be the right jacket but the catalogue number on the record doesn’t match the jacket catalogue number.
Jacket condition is Very Good (VG). It has 2 hole punches on the side of the front, age wear, and handwriting on the bottom, front and back. Please see photos.
Jacket is a mismatch as record is in Stereo and the record is marked ST-2047 on the label to identify it as a Stereo release but the jacket is for a Mono release and the jacket cover is marked T-2047.
Record condition is Very Good (VG) because it has hairlines, smudges and scuffs, but no scratches, and nothing deep enough to easily see or feel. Please see photos.
