For sale is this RARE original 1964 first pressing / second variation of the "MEET THE BEATLES!" LP Album on Capitol Records # ST-2047. This "Full Dimensional Stereo" record was manufactured at the Scranton, Pennsylvania pressing plant. It has in the heading, the name "BEATLES" in brown on the front cover, and a number 2 next to the RIAA logo on the back side of the jacket. There are no George Martin credits on the jacket or the record labels, and there are no BMI or ASCAP Publishing Credits on the back of the jacket. However, they do appear on the Black, Color Rainbow record labels. It has the needle damage statement on the back bottom of the jacket, which only appears on the very 1st run covers.

The jacket and the record grade: EXCELLENT PLUS. The jacket has the residue of a label on the back and a 1½" inch seam split on the top. The record has some minor surface scratches that do not affect the sound quality. The record has been cleaned.

 This is your chance to own a Beautiful, clean copy of an original 1964 first pressing of The Beatles first Capitol Album. It is extremely hard to find a 52 year old record album in this Gorgeous tip-top condition with crisp corners,  clean slicks with nice white edges and a record that has a high Gloss Sheen on both sides of the beautiful labels. It also comes with an Excellent Plus Condition Capitol Records blue inner sleeve.

This Album will be shipped insured by Priority Mail!

RECORD GRADING SYSTEM:

Mint = As new.

Near mint = Almost like new with one or two very minor flaws.

Excellent or Very Good+ = Minor wear yet looks attractive and is perfectly usable.

Very Good = Some wear and tear but overall presentable and usable.

Good = Apparent wear and tear but with obvious deterioration of the condition.

Poor = Extremely worn.

A plus (+) or minus (-) after the grading indicates that the condition is marginally higher or lower than the stated grade.
