MEET THE BEATLES / No George Martin-orig-IN SHRINK-NM! Welcome to my record auction! I'm always finding new records to sell, so please check back often for more titles!
This is a listing for one LP record:
• Title: Meet the Beatles
• Label: Capitol ST 2047
• Stereo/Mono: Stereo
• Stampers: B2/W3. Scranton (East Coast) stampers.
• Other Details: Earliest back cover with no producer credits for George Martin. This is the third label variation out of the original four versions: it has BMI credits for I Wanna Be Your Man, I Want to Hold Your Hand, and I Saw Her Standing There. The stereo version of this variation is RARER than the mono version, since the early first three variations were made in only about 15% stereo.
• Jacket Condition: NM (pristine in shrink wrap! Back cover has small pen markings on shrink wrap only - the cover itself is perfect!)
• Disc Condition: NM (No spindle marks or any other signs of play - Pristine!!)
Grading: I use the following grades: NM, EX, VG+, VG, G, F, P. Sometimes, if the record is very borderline, I will use the lower grade, and add a (+) in parentheses to indicate that it is an unusually nice example of this grade category.
I grade conservatively, following the Goldmine grading system standard, with the the common addition of EX as a grade to represent records falling between VG+ and NM. Please contact me if you would like more details on this grading system. I have always found Dragon Discs to have an excellent description of the "Goldmine with EX" system. Please note that I do not use the M grade. NM is my highest grade.
