You are bidding on an extremely rare version of the "Meet The Beatles" original Stereo LP by The Beatles.

This is the very first pressing of the LP where the labels on both sides do not mention any publishing credits. ASCAP and BMI are nowhere to be found on these labels! Even rarer is the fact that this is the Stereo version. It has been noted that while the Mono printing of this version pressed around 20,000 units (which is still pretty rare), the Stereo printing was only about 2000 units or so!

NOTE:

The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Mint Minus, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.

The cover I would rate as Fair to Good Condition. Bottom and spine are completely split. The top is starting to on the front, top-left, but it is mostly intact for the most part. Some staining and scratches on the front and back as well. Considering the splits, it could look worse all around. Pressing plant number is "3" on the back cover (see photo) indicating an east coast pressing (probably from Scranton). You could probably replace the cover, but I don't do that. This is the cover the record was in.

I would rate the record’s condition as Fair to Good+. There are many surface scratches and some deep ones, but it plays through fine on my player! It actually still sounded pretty good! This auction is mainly for the labels anyway. Comes with a white, polylined inner sleeve. Matrix numbers (or Dead Wax numbers) are ST-1-2047-A1 #2 for Side 1 and ST-2-2047-A3 #2 for Side 2.
