ARTIST: THE BEATLES
TITLE: “MEET THE BEATLES”
PRESSING: 1969 Capitol Pressing STEREO LP of The Beatles debut album!
CATALOG #: CAPITOL ST 2047
LABELS: Extremely clean “Lime Green” labels with the purple CAPITOL “target” at top.
Comments: Extremely SCARCE LP to locate in pristine condition.

COVER: NrMT+
Comments: Super clean “pastedown” cover with BEATLES in Brown displays sharp vivid colors with the “original” shrink wrap fully intact. There is No Ring wear beneath the shrink, No seam splits or creases, No marks or writing, No cut out marks, and No discount holes or bar codes. The upper left and lower right corners are ever so slightly bumped. This appears to be the only minor flaw, which is mentioned for accuracy.
VINYL: NrMT+
Comments: Full original gloss relatively “thick” vinyl with only a few insignificant, barely noticeable faint hairlines (No scratches), seen under bright light on Side 1, from sliding in and out of the original inner sleeve. The vinyl plays beautifully throughout the recording!
INNER SLEEVE: Original and the correct “generic” white inner sleeve used by Capitol at the time of release of this LP.
Comments: Copies of this popular CAPITOL vinyl LP with “Lime Green” labels with the purple “target” are extremely difficult to locate in highly collectible condition, especially the Cover! LP features several early Beatles classic songs including “I Want To Hold Your Hand”, “I Saw Her Standing There”, “This Boy”, “All My Loving”, and “I Wanna Be Your Man”.
I am very conservative with my grading. There is NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE for multiple LPs won in the same auction cycle. All of my LPs come with a protective poly album sleeve and will be shipped in a sturdy cardboard LP mailer, tightly wrapped in bubble wrap for added protection.

VG+ Light overall corner/surface wear, light ring wear
VG Moderate shelf wear, light to moderate ring wear
VINYL
MINT Absolutely no marks on the vinyl surface, rarely used grade
NrMT+ Very faint rub or two with no surface marks
NrMT No scratches or spindle marks – may have a few extremely faint, inaudible hairlines or a paper scuff seen only under very bright light
NrMT- No scratches or spindle marks – may have a few light, inaudible hairlines seen under bright light from sliding in and out of the inner paper sleeve
VG+ No scratches, may have a spindle mark – light inaudible hairlines and/or paper scuffs will be present, which do not affect play or overall quality of the recording
VG May have a scratch deep enough to feel with a fingernail, but no skips – several hairlines and needle trails will be present which do not affect overall playprice rating
