We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. Helen Merrill was born in New York City in 1930 She began singing in jazz clubs in the Bronx at the age of fourteen. By the time she was sixteen, she had taken up music full-time. Her debut recording, ‘A Cigarette For Company’, was recorded on December 15, 1952 with the Earl Hines band. More important to her legacy are the 1953 recordings of 'The More I See You’ and 'My Funny Valentine’. These recordings led to her signing in 1954 with the newly launched Emarcy label of Mercury Records.

- The cover: rated: VG++ hard one to grade, the laminated front is real clean but was a deleted item so there was a cut corner as such. However the enterprising (one) previous owner spun some magic and replaced the delete cut as seen, pretty well done at that, better than the delete cut by far! The back cover is deently clean but has some age discoloration (slight) at bottom -- see photo. There are no delete marks (though there was one!) , no split seams, no bends, and no writing ...
- The vinyl: Rated: looks closer to a clean "EX" (excellent) though calling it VG++ though looks very clean, detected some slight surface though wasn't detracting upon play test here. Both EmArcy MONO labels are clean.
A cool addition to anyone's music library!
