 Almost new, VG – NM (grading of course can be subjective) copy of Countdown to Extinction sounds absolutely outstanding, but with one imperfection (*see below)

Jacket VG – NM, may show signs of general shelf and handling wear (very minor, most won’t notice) – Once cellophane was removed jacket was immediately placed into a 4-mil Poly bag, with records stored in MFSL inner sleeves behind jacket

Vinyl LP VG – NM, is glossy and generally free of defects – The labels look perfect (some stray printing marks/wrinkling inherent with 180-gram pressings)

I am the ONLY owner of this set and can report it has been played in its entirety (all 4 sides) six times – Always handled and stored with the utmost care, only played on dry-cleaned (Onzow) stylus with the following cartridges:  AT440MLa; AT440MLb; AT120E – Anti-static brushed before play

Please Note:  The *imperfection for this record is the beginning of Side 3 during track 7, “Countdown to Extinction” at 2:44.14 there is a quick pop – The loudness or notice-ability of the pop will depend entirely on how sensitive your cartridge is and how its stylus rides in the groove; There is nothing visible (that I can see) that causes the pop – When I contacted MFSL I was told the pop may be an imperfection in wax from factory use of the stamper and that after multiple playings the pop should begin to disappear

Also, Note:  This pressing does not have a “quiet” run-off for the cartridge to silence before hitting the dead-wax – Depending on your cartridge you may hear run-off distortion at the end of each side (this is a very quick sound that may be evident immediately at the end of the last track, per side)

 I do my best to ensure all vinyl records get to you safe and sound.  Records are Poly-bagged and packed inside a heavy-duty, deluxe LP mailer box (not the flimsy white ones that damage corners easily).  I also will include a “Rice Paper” inner sleeve for you to use in place of the original, which sometimes is only a thin paper or wax sleeve (MFSL records already come with sleeves)
