FlammableDestrukktor Sep 2, 2017 LP have the exact same non-remastered sound as 88561-8015-2 (1986) CD (first press). The non-remaster win it by the thinnest of margins with a poor production, raw, natural.
The remaster was so close to win it with a loudness attack, through not mega loud, completely restored sound from the master; we can hear notes a LOT sharper and passes we thought did not existed. This is a rare case where having both remaster/non-remaster presses are needed.
jacobjsamano Mar 25, 2017 This thing looks and sounds phenomenal! Just got mine last night, it's the original version too not the newly remixed/remastered version. So cool to have the original, his vocals are immature, his guitars are light speed fast, and Gars drumming is loud and upfront for all his flare to shine forever! Get this album!

As you can see, although this is a repressing, everyone agrees that it is not only close to the 1986 original master, but sounds even better without being remastered. It was just cut from the original masters although using higher fidelity better capturing technology than what they must have used with their minimal budget back in 1986 - as you can see - people are saying that they hear new things/new parts that were buried before in the original.
