Description

SUPERB!! The VERY FIRST UK album from Gene Vincent & The Blue Caps "Bluejean Bop" (Turquoise Capitol T 764) MONO. Released in 1956, this IS the GENUINE 1st Pressing from Gene Vincent. Tracks include the classic "Jezebel", "Ain't She Sweet?", "Up A Lazy River" etc etc. Having not played the record for some time, I had forgotten just how raw and exciting Gene Vincent's early recordings sounded! The vinyl is in VG CONDITION. with a few scratches and some surface marks, but despite the presence of some crackling and "pops", there is still plenty of great listening on the album. There are NO JUMPS, SKIPS etc. The (fully laminated with flipbacks etc) sleeve is in EX- CONDITION, with some minor corner wear, and slight signs of ringwear, but overall, for an item that is 53 years old, not too bad!! If you require any further details please contact me. Please also see more very early UK Gene Vincent albums that I am selling this week. Thanks for looking in and Good Luck should you decide to bid for this RARE slice of UK Rock'n'Roll history!!
