Description
MEGA-RARE PRIVATE PRESSING LP - "A Parcel Of Folk"(Deroy Records Label). Released in 1973, this SO RARE LP features The Villagers plus The Parcel Of Rogues(members being Colin Harper, Sheila Smith, John Strivens, Eileen Mawson and Jeff Radcliffe. The album was recorded (before an audience of three!) at St. Martin's College, Lancaster, and tracks include "Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silent", "A-Soulin'", Old Pendle" etc etc. The atmosphere during the whole album is FANTASTIC, as there appears to have been little rehearsing prior to recording. This is one of the RAREST and SOUGHT-AFTER albums on the Mega-rare Deroy Label, so here's your chance to actually own this much-prized item!! Both the album and sleeve, plus the rare inner Insert are in EX/EX/EX CONDITION!! If you require any further details please contact me. Happy to oblige!! As usual with my items there is No Reserve, and a low starting bid price. Owing to what seems to be a growing number of bogus bidders, I would insist that bidders with no feedback contact me prior to bidding, or else their bid will immediately be deleted. I try and be accurate about my record conditions, but sometimes (very rarely!) there can be a mis-grading, and if this is the case, I always offer a full, unconditional refund. Please also see my other rare UK albums on offer this week, including the two rarest Rosemary Hardman albums, plus the "Out Of Darkness" LP on the Key label.
