ART LABOE’S MEMORIES OF EL MONTE - STARLA 1960 - BEST OF L.A.’s ROCK and ROLL
ART LABOE was L.A.’s ALAN FREED. He issued this now famous LP in 1960.
This may be a second pressing because it is mostly shown on a black label, however it may have been issued on two colors.
CONDITION: COVER is VG++ Shows signs of age. Has 1” tape on bottom corner, and 2” upper corner., but the seams are not ripped or worn through.
A VINYL is Mint Minus / Near Mint
Standard LP Grading:
M- Mint Minus or Near Mint. Highest grade used. Has full or nearly full luster. Little or no sign of play or handling. Highly desirable condition.
VG++ Very Good Plus Plus. Most luster remains. Slight indications of careful play. May have mild wear or a few very light scuffs or superficial scratches. Very desirable condition.
VG+ Very Good Plus. Still some luster. Shows moderate wear, minor scuffs and/or scratches not felt by touch. Still a vey nice used record, acceptable to most collectors.
VG Very Good. Obvious groove wear with mostly grey grooves. Has the scuffs and/or scratches of an ?average used record?. Often plays better than it looks.
V- Very Good Minus. Record shows heavy use, deeper grey, more scuffs and scratches. Plays with more surface noise but should play through.
G Good. A beat record that could easily skip, looks bad and is noisy.
