Really hard to find original LP full of heavy funk, lots of loud drums, heavy cuts and breaks. Ingfried Hoffmann, a genius German jazz musician. Plays organ, piano, trumpet and work as arranger and composer. In the sixties and seventies he plays together with Klaus Doldinger and a lot of other german jazz artists.
1969 he released under the pseudonym MEMPHIS BLACK two records.
This nice LP including the heavy drum break organ tune „WHY DON’T YOU PLAY THE ORGAN, MAN“, furthermore nice organ versions from well known Funk & Soul classics like “SOUL FINGER” for example.

Unfortunately is the condition not the best. The vinyl has a couple of minor scratches but plays great. Between the tracks and on silent parts you can here some noises but all the club tunes plays perfect!
