RECORD GRADING AND SHIPPING

M = Still Sealed and appears to be perfect as in no corner dings etc.


NM/NM- = near flawless played minimally, maybe unplayed. For the most part, only records that I personally know the provenance of, as in, I bought it new, opened it and played it once, would get this grade.


EX = beautiful copy, it’s been played, but well cared for, with minimal signs of wear. Maybe some inaudible paper scuffs from the crummy paper sleeves most records come with.


VG+ = nice copy that might show some signs of age. Light spindle marks, inaudible marks, superficial sleeve marks. Play is flawless but possible dust in grooves may cause occasional crackle.


VG = well played copy with some noise mostly noticeable between tracks and probably in need of a pro-cleaning. May have some audible marks but nothing hard, and no skips. Still a nice play copy without any terminal issues.


VG - = Still playable, still can be enjoyed, no skips, but plenty of noise. In general, the only records I have in this condition are things that are either rare or just look a lot worse than they play.


G = something I’m not gonna need to deal with. Good = forgetaboutit


SHIPPING INFO

All SEALED records are packed sealed and are carefully packed and shipped to prevent damage. IF you ask me to open and remove LP for shipping I’m happy to do it.

ALL USED/OPEN records are shipped outside the cover to prevent damage to cover. I use only quality boxes and heavy grade inserts. If there’s only an old, unprinted, stock paper sleeve, I will give it a new quality inner sleeve. If you’d prefer that I leave it in the cover, just let me know.


For records, I use a flat rate to cover some of the cost of sturdy mailers. I wish it was cheaper but it’s more important to get it to you undamaged.

If you have multiple purchases please wait until I send an invoice so I can combine your shipping to save you some $$.

SHIPPING TIMES = it’s brutal these days. If you live in Hawaii, it’s going to take 2 weeks+ to get there.

If you live east of the Mississippi, probably over a week but not always. The west has been reasonably fast. 4-5 days in general.

ALL ITEMS SHIPPED ASAP. Most likely the next business day. I only mark items shipped when they’ve actually been shipped. I personally take everything directly to the Post office. Once shipped, a tracking # is entered as well as feedback.
