MEMPHIS JUG BAND
Papa's Got Your Bath Water On/4th Street Mess Around (Victor 23251)
VERY RARE blues 78rpm from 1930. Supposedly it only sold 750 copies upon it's original release.
VJM grading scale would put this at V range. As visible in the second and third pictures it's been played, a lot, but tracks through both sides with no skips or sticks. I have attached audio clips to give you a preview of what to expect as far as playing quality.
Label on the A-side displays fairly well, B-side label has had the word "around" partially rubbed away. I have inspected this record under very bright light and did not find any cracks or fractures.
I also know how to properly ship 78rpms...record goes between three cross grained pieces of double wall cardboard, taped securely, placed in larger box with cushioned filler added around on top and bottom and sides. I will NOT ship media mail.
