Description
Artist: MEMPHIS SLIM
Title: “Just Blues”
Label: PRESTIGE/BLUESVILLE. Monaural pressing on medium thick vinyl. Label is dark blue with silver text, with deep groove. Catalog number is BVLP 1018.
Year: 1960.
Condition:
DISC: Vinyl retains 100% of original gloss, has been played a small number of times and handled with care. Play-grades nice VG+ with a couple hairline scuffs on each side that do not affect the listening experience other than to produce a few soft tics. No serious marks or distractions. Fidelity is excellent. Labels are clean. A very fine playing copy.
JACKET: Jacket is overall very nice, with clean glossy front artwork. Would grade Excellent to NM, except for a small scrape (approximately 2 inches) on top seam on left side. Bottom seam has a couple tiny chips, remainder of seams and spine are excellent. Reverse is clean with slight darkening due to age. Factory stamped “S.O.” at top right corner. Otherwise clean with no writing, stickers, cutout indications, or other issues. Overall a very presentable jacket to accompany the lovely disc.
