Description

For sale is "MEMPHIS SWAMP JAM", on Blue Thumb BTS 6000, 1969, 2-LP Gatefold Promo. With Booker White, Piano Red, Nathan Beauregard, Sleepy John Estes, Fred McDowell, Johnny Woods, Napoleon Strickland, Furry Lewis, R.L. Watson and Josiah Jones.
SOUND: NM It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both records completely. Stunning, crystal-clear sound! For complete disclosure, I heard a total of 4 or 5 random tics on disc-1 -- that is all. Very minor. Disc-2 was just about perfect. Overall, a brilliant playback!
VINYL: VG+/NM Very clean vinyl on both records, Disc-1 (sides A & D) has a few light, superficial scuffs on either side, purely cosmetic, with no effect on the playback. Disc-2 (sides B & C) is in beautiful condition, looking like-new. The labels are white/blue "promo" edition, beautifully clean. No spindle marks.
JACKET: VG+/NM The jacket has a punch-hole top left corner. Edges and spine are solid and in great condition all-around. The corners have a touch of slight wear or bumping. Front, back and inner-gatefold cover areas are in beautiful, clean condition. Only the most minimal wear. Gatefold spine is still stiff, won't lay flat. Sale includes original inner sleeves with liner and artist notes, in beautiful condition.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability. 
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.  
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
