Description
Mendelssohn, Concerto in E Minor Op. 64, Bruch Concerto No.1 in G minor Op.26. Ruggiero Ricci with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Perino Gamba. Decca SXL 2006.
This is an original UK issued album, with a wide band ED1 label with the grooved label, and rim text starting with "Original Recording By.. The sleeve is the original version with the the "blue back" or blue-bordered rear sleeve. Has the original blue printed poly lined inner sleeve.
Condition: Sleeve is graded at VG++, all seams and flipbacks and laminate is undamaged. Just some thumbnail creases and wear to corners of thin sleeve. Still good looking. I have studied the album carefully for listening pleasure, and overall its a nice experience. Mostly clean sounding . There are a couple of short periods on the first side (Mendelssohn) where I can here a very quiet repeat click. The first time somewhere just over 12-15 times, and the second later on, around 6 (from memory). But this is very quiet. Otherwise it plays nice and cleanly with very few pops. Graded VG++ also. I would certainly count as enjoyable overall, and what a fine performance it is!
