Description
This great item is the vintage vinyl record 'Mendelssohn - Violin Concerto in E Minor/Bruch - Violin Concerto in G Minor' performed by Yehudi Menuhin accompanied by the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Walter Susskind and Efram Kurtz. Released on the His Master's Voice label with the catalogue number ASD 334, it is an original pressing with the lovely original cream and gold label. It is in, as can be seen, great condition looking little and carefully played - examined carefully I can see no marks or signs of damage to the playing surface. In particular spindle marks around the centre hole - usually a good signifier that a record has been played a great deal or carelessly - are entirely absent. There is some slight impact damage to the top right corner of the sleeve.
I have been buying and selling vinyl records for over thirty-five years and only list items for sale on eBay which are rare, in exceptional condition or, preferably, both. I always pack items with care to ensure they arrive in the same superb condition - record removed from sleeve and packed separately in the inner sleeve, three sheets of cardboard for stiffening and bubblewrap for more valuable items - and am willing to send worldwide. Postage services signed-for on delivery, tracked or with insurance can be arranged on request.
It would be a splendid addition to any classical record library.
