Artist:   DETROIT SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA /  PAUL PARAY, conducting

Title:  “Ballet Highlights from French Operas”

Label:   MERCURY Living Presence ~ SR 90318.  Label is white with black text, promotional pressing.  Stereo pressing on medium weight vinyl, with deep groove.   

Matrix numbers are as follows:

Side 1:  RFR 1

Side 2:  RFR 1

Condition: 

DISC:  NEAR MINT with 100% of original gloss, as clean as can be found.  Appears to have been played one or two times at most, and handled with utmost care.  Fidelity is superb, the sound quality is simply AMAZING.  Labels are clean with no spindle trail marks. 

I have included an abbreviated sound clip (no modification whatsoever) so that you can hear and judge the quality.

A gorgeous promotional copy of this scarce pressing - you will never need to upgrade. 

JACKET:  Jacket is nice VG+.   Laminated front panel is clean; has darkened slightly around the edges, and at the bottom.  Top seam has a small split (approximately 2”) at the center; remainder of seams and spine are nice.  Reverse has light surface wear, otherwise clean with no writing or stickers.  Overall a very presentable jacket to accompany the gorgeous disc.

Includes factory insert sheet (typed tracklist for radio station use), as well as the original MERCURY RECORDS factory inner sleeve in top condition.
